About Scott Herrick

Scott is a coach, endurance athlete, and works full time as a leader in digital transformation and change management.

Scott is a CSCS® (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) from the NSCA and an IRONMAN Certified Coach.  He also has a Global Executive MBA from IESE Business School in Spain and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University.

He also writes about organizational transformation and change management at Captured Value.

He has been a triathlete since 1993 and has since completed multiple IRONMANs, marathons and shorter distance events. 

After a decade away from racing, Scott will be eating his own dog food and taking the same guidance he gives to athletes with his own Project 2023: Building the Healthy Middle Age Man.  Full plan coming to his own blog Slow Beast at the end of November, 2022.

He lives with his partner Emily in Zurich, Switzerland and is originally from Ohio, USA.  When not playing outside, he can be found in his kitchen workshop creating recipes at his home cooking site Culaccino.
